*NEW Hawaiian Coastal Garden
 |
We are building an educational garden primarily consisting of native Hawaiian coastal plants. The garden will be used as a learning tool for people who are interested in learning about Hawaiian coastal plants, special adaptations they have, cultural significance, traditional uses, and how coastal plants are important in our island environment. We rely on volunteers to help build, maintain and interpret the garden.

Service Learning office for enrollment. If you are not a student at
KCC and would like to inquire about this
opportunity, please contact our volunteer

*NEW Career Exploration
This program
for High School students is designed to give
students an opportunity to explore career

in our reef department, sea bird rehabilitation,

provides a basis for a variety of projects such
as: volunteering, community service, service
learning, interview skills, senior projects, and
more. A good communication between the student,
the teacher, and the site coordinator is

learning experience. Projects need to be
approved beforehand on an individual basis and
availability is limited.
