Oahu, "the gathering island"
From surfing to sightseeing, many of Oahu’s best activities take place
near Honolulu, including swimming with dolphins at Sea Life Park
Hawaii. Of course, guests get to enjoy our other attractions and marine
life adventures too, such as swimming with sea lions, getting to know
our penguins, feeding sea turtles, and diving with rays. We also host a
fabulous luau, a traditional celebration done Sea Life Park style. And,
we’re only 15 minutes from Waikiki, the world famous surfing beach.
Another place of interest in Honolulu is the Polynesian Cultural
Center, where Hawaii maintains its Polynesian traditions. The local
islanders are proud to share their cultural inheritance with travelers
from all over the world.
Maui, "the island of the valley"
Maui is the second largest Hawaiian island with 81 accessible beaches
where you can walk in sand that ranges from white to gold, black,
garnet, or green, all stemming from ancient volcanic activity. Every
year, from December to April, the whales arrive looking for the warm
waters off Maui. They delight locals and astonish visitors with their
size and beauty.
Kauai, "the garden island"
Kauai
is an environmental jewel with its emerald green mountains, pristine
beaches, and spectacular waterfalls. Known for its lush, tropical
landscape, Kauai is actually the oldest main Hawaiian island.
Hawaii, "the big island"
Hawaii
is the largest island. It is known as "the big island" and "the island
of the orchids" because it has gorgeous gardens filled with this
wonderful, exotic flower. It’s also called "the island of volcanoes"
and is home to the Volcanoes National Park where visitors can see the
Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, and Kilauea (one of the most active volcanoes in
the world). Hawaii’s distinct black sand beaches are a result of the
island’s volcanic origins and come from magma pulverized by time and
erosion.
Lanai, "the garden of the gods" and Molokai, "the most Hawaiian of the islands"
In
Lanai, the things to do are to visit two beautiful sites: the beach of
Shipwreck and the garden of the gods, with red landscapes, but similar
in shape to the lunar surface. Molokai is "the most Hawaiian of the
islands", because it conjugates exuberant forest and beautiful beaches.
