A New Chapter for Sea Life Park
Under the stewardship of the Hawaiian Council, Sea Life Park will become Hawaiʻi’s living classroom, a place where Native Hawaiian knowledge, marine science, animal care, and extraordinary experiences come together.
Hawaiʻi’s Living Classroom
Sea Life Park is entering a new era. Guided by the Hawaiian Council, we are transforming the park into a place rooted in Waimānalo, in Hawaiʻi’s relationship with the ocean, and in our shared responsibility to care for it.
Culture and conservation will not be attractions within the park. They will be the foundation of the entire experience: exceptional care for the animals who call the park home, marine rescue and rehabilitation for Hawaiʻi’s native species, marine science taught alongside generations of Hawaiian knowledge of the ocean, and stories of this place told by the people of this place.
Hawaiʻi’s ocean is more than something beautiful to look at. It has fed, taught, and carried the people of these islands. A day here will bring you closer to it.

Sea Life Park is proudly owned by the Hawaiian Council, ushering in an exciting new era of Native Hawaiian stewardship.
