Keiki Sunday: World Oceans Day Celebration

Sea Life Park Hawaiʻi invites families and keiki (children) to join us for a special Keiki Sunday in celebration of World Ocean Day. This fun, family-friendly event highlights the importance of caring for our oceans through interactive activities, educational experiences, and hands-on learning designed for all ages.

Keiki Hula: Enjoy hula performances by Halau Hula ‘O Puka’ikapuaokalani under the shade of the Beach Boy Lanai.

Face Painting: Join our friends from Storybook Entertainment for complimentary face painting throughout the park.

Photo Booth: Smile and pose for a keepsake souvenir photo. A free gift from the park for celebrating World Ocean Day with us.

Activities and Games: Join our education team and other nonprofit partners for various ocean-themed activities and games throughout the park.

Community Beach Clean-up x 808 Cleanups

Keiki Sunday begins with a community beach cleanup directly across from the park at "Baby Makapu'u Beach" in partnership with 808 Cleanups, from 8:00am – 10:00am. Volunteers interested in the beach cleanup are asked to park at the beach for the cleanup with 808 Cleanups, then drive over to the park for Keiki Sunday activities afterward.


Manō Month: Sharks of Hawaiʻi at Sea Life Park

July 1 - July 31

Gain a deeper understanding of the sharks of Hawaiʻi during Manō Month at Sea Life Park, a month-long spotlight on one of the ocean’s most important—and often misunderstood—species. Rooted in science and local significance, the program highlights the vital role sharks play in maintaining healthy marine ecosystems across the islands.  Throughout the month, guests can connect with the park’s animal care team through their daily educational talks and interactive experiences designed to inspire curiosity and deepen understanding of these remarkable animals.

Shark Snorkel Limited-Time Special Offer

JULY SHARK SNORKEL: SAVE $25 
As part of the July celebration, Sea Life Park is offering a special promotion on its popular Shark Snorkel experience. Guests can snorkel alongside whitetip reef sharks—born at the park and living under professional care—in a safe, guided environment.

Manō Week Festivities

Sea Life Park will feature an expanded lineup of shark-focused activities in the park, along with special guest speakers (to be announced).

Keiki Sunday

July 26

Manō Week culminates with a special Keiki Sunday on July 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. offering families an engaging day of learning and connection.  The day begins with an early morning beach cleanup in partnership with 808 Cleanups at Kaupo Beach from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m., followed by in-park activities that celebrate sharks through education and conservation learning.

Keiki Sunday activities include: 

  • Shark-themed crafts and games  
  • Community nonprofit booths and guest speakers  
  • Sea Life Park education stations and activities  
  • Take-home arts and crafts  
  • Photo booth experiences  
  • Keiki hula performances by Hālau Hula ʻO Pukaʻikapuaokalani
