Internship Programs

Internships are a great way to gain experience working with marine animals.

We offer several types of unpaid internship opportunities: Marine Mammal Care & Training, Seabird Care & Rehabilitation, Veterinary Technician, and Educator Experiences.

Many interns receive course credit for their internships. With our variety of learning opportunities, we will be happy to work with your college or university to develop a program tied to your academic goals.

Volunteer Programs

Volunteers play a crucial role within our organization.

Our hands-on volunteer programs offer you the chance to become an Education Docent, Reef Life Assistant, or caregiver at the Seabird Rehabilitation Facility.

As the backbone to some of our departments, volunteers assist in the areas of conservational education, hospitality, animal care, and community outreach.
